Great Maine Camp Out | Sep 18-20
Our third annual Great Maine Camp Out weekend will be filled with kids’ crafts, our annual S’Mores cooking contest, star gazing, cooking class, group bonfire, and more!
Scheduled Activities on September 19, 2020
- 10 am: Kids’ Fall Crafts in the Kids Kamp Area
- 2 pm: Camp Fire Cooking with Annie B. Copps
Hone your campfire cooking skills with Annie B. Copps, author of Little Maine Cookbook, as she whips up a New England feast over the campfire. Gather at our Poolside Lawn.
- 3:30 pm: 3rd Annual S’Mores Recipe Contest
Do you have what it takes to take home the prize of a 2-night Camp Cottage stay or $100 store credit? Always competitive, this year’s contest will be judged by Mike Urban, New England food & travel author and comfort food connoisseur. Bring your masterpiece to the Poolside Lawn.
Prize not redeemable for cash value.
- 4 pm: Story Telling-Camping Spree with Mr. McGhee and other stories

- 7 pm: Group Bonfire and Stargazing with David Kosh

Sandy Pines State Fair Carnival | Sep 25-27
Join us for our first-ever State Fair Carnival! Wildlife Ecology Center & Farm School will join us with some adorable animal friends. Bake up your favorite pie for our first Annual Best Pie contest and get ready for Family Field Day in which families will compete to win best-of-the-best in the classic field games.
Spooky Pines AND The Grand Funale Weekend | October 9-12
Our closing weekend tradition includes kids fall crafting, face painting, and live music.
SATURDAY: Celebrate Halloween early at our second annual Trick or Treating fest and Costume Contest on Saturday.
SUNDAY: The Grand Funale continues with some old-fashioned fun – sack races, fall games, and a host of field races.
