The pool opens on Memorial Day Weekend.

There is residentially friendly wifi throughout most of the campground, but the best connection can be found at the main lodge.

Firewood can be purchased at our General Store. We have kiln-dried Maine firewood for sale guaranteed to make your fire-starting experience flawless. No out-of-state wood is allowed.

Sandy Pines is located next to conservation land that is home to a variety of wildlife. While guests enjoy spotting deer and all kinds of beautiful birds, some of our hungrier and more inquisitive neighbors can be a bit nosy. Whether you bring your own tent/camper or stay in one of our glamping tents, cottages or unique retreats, when you camp outdoors there’s always a possibility of encountering small woodland animals like chipmunks and squirrels. For this reason, we encourage all guests to seal and store all food items in plastic containers. This will make your tent/camper/cottage less interesting to our furry friends and decrease the chances of them paying you a visit.

We regularly apply environmentally friendly pesticides to control the mosquito population as best we can without harming the protected wetlands surrounding our property. Mosquitos and black flies are one of the few, unavoidable downsides to summer in Maine, so we recommend bug spray and have it for sale in our general store in case you forget.

Reservations can only be made by individuals 21 years of age or older.

My kids are really well-behaved. Can they stay at the campsite by themselves?
We require that someone 21 years of age or older be on each site at all times that children are there.

We like all of our guests to have a good time, but we do enforce quiet hours beginning at 10 pm. Fires need to be out by 11 pm.

Goose Rocks Beach is just over a mile away and requires paid parking. Parking is limited at Goose Rocks Beach but it’s walking distance from the campground and less than 10 minutes by bike. We recommend “the drop off” method for families with small children due to the traffic on Route 9. One parent does the driving and riding/walking to and from the beach/campground while the other parent guides all the kids and gear to the perfect spot on the beach.

The shops, restaurants, and waterfront attractions in downtown Kennebukport are a short ten-minute car ride away!

Dog are allowed on RV and rustic tent sites. There is a fee of $5/dog/night. Maximum two dogs per site.

We do our best to guarantee the site you booked. Our tent and RV sites, as well as our “glamorous camping” sites are almost always ready and waiting for every guest who reserves them. That said, these accommodations are still outside and subject to weather conditions beyond our control. If rain or wind creates an unsafe situation or a poor guest experience, we reserve the right to move guests to an equal or better accommodation.
