Open/Close Information: Our 2023 season runs from Friday, May 12th through Monday, October 9th.
General Stay Information:
- Minimum night stays vary depending on seasonality and demand
- Check-in time vary per site type. Overnight RV and tent site guests may check in after 1pm. Guests staying in Glamp Tents, Camp Carriages, and Hideaway Huts may check in after 3pm. Check out is 11am
- NO CHECK INS AFTER 11pm, as to not disturb other guests. Should you arrive after 11pm, please park in the lot across from our Lodge and you may check in the next morning.
- No hot tubs are allowed on camping sites.
- We are unable to issue refunds due to weather.
Conduct
- The Campground is a private property. We reserve the right to select our clientele and visitors
- Firearms, fireworks, f-shooters, slingshots and BB guns are prohibited
- No occupant shall create a nuisance or interfere with the enjoyment of others of the resort
- Alcoholic beverages are to be consumed on private sites only. Public consumption is discouraged unless at resort-sanctioned events
- The use of vulgarity by adults or children will not be tolerated. Subjecting neighboring campsites to socially unacceptable behavior is a violation of Sandy Pines rules
- No business or commercial activity is permitted on property
- Persons engaging in illegal activities with be subject to eviction
- Tobacco use is prohibited in ALL public areas at the campground and is only permitted at your camp site
- Please report all inappropriate situations to management
Pets
- Only two pets, of a normal household variety are allowed per RV or rustic tent site. No pets in the glamping rentals.
- DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED with visitors or overnight guests
- Pets must be kept on a short leash (no extended) at all times and any material but be cleaned up immediately by owners
- Noisy or aggressive dogs are not allowed
- Pets are not allowed in public areas such as the lodge, pool, or game areas. Pets are allowed in designated walk areas on property
- Barking dogs will not be tolerated and if barking persists dogs will be asked to leave the property
- Sandy Pines will charge a $5 per dog, per night pet fee
- Pets are not allowed in glamping accommodations — safari tents, camp cottages, family camp cottages, hideaway huts, and unique retreats.
Pool
- Pool hours are 9am-8pm
- Children under the age of 12 must have adult supervision at all times
- There are no lifeguards on duty and you are at your own risk
- Diapers are not allowed in the pool
- No glass is allowed in the pool area
- Pool rules are strictly enforced
Quiet Hours & Campfires
- Quiet Hours are from 10pm-8am and campfires must be extinguished by 11pm. Please think of your fellow campers
- All playgrounds are closed from 10pm-8am
- Speed limits of 5 miles per hour are strictly enforced
- Out-of-state wood is prohibited
- No flammable or harmful liquids are allowed on site
- Fires must be started with fire starters
- Firewood can be purchased at the General Store
Generators
- Generators are not allowed
Storage, Trash & Recycling
- Please keep your site neat & clean at all times
- Clutter will not be allowed on sites and toys and lawn chairs must be stored when you are not on your site
- Do not throw garbage in the bath house containers
- Garbage must be removed from your site and taken to the dumpster areas on property. Garbage cans are not allowed on property
Recreational Vehicles
- Use of ATV’s, dirt bikes, mini-bikes, rollerblades, skateboards, longboards and radio-controlled items such as planes, bikes and drones is prohibited
- Golf carts are not allowed
Motorcycles
In order to provide access privileges to owners with motorcycles, while at the same time maintaining the quality of life standards presently enjoyed on property; the below listed rules and regulations will govern motorcycle usage while on property:
- Guests are allowed to drive his or her motorcycle to and from their site via the Mills Road gate. Absolutely no guests of site renters, or visitors, may bring or use motorcycles on the property at any time
- Motorcycle access is allowed only between the hours of 8am and 9pm
- Motorcycles cannot be used to travel between sites and the Welcome area
- All motorcycles must be registered, insured and have a state inspection sticker. Maximum of 2 motorcycles per site. Inspection is required. Security will handle all inspections
- Excessive noise will not be permitted
Bicycles
For everyone’s safety, the following policies will be strictly enforced:
- Registration tag must be affixed to handlebars and visible at all times
- Bicycle riding is allowed between sunrise and sunset; until the street lights are on
- Helmets must be worn at all times by everyone under the age of 16
- Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a parent
- Bicycles must be parked at designated areas only
- Peg riding is not allowed
- Safe bicycle riding is expected
- Failure to comply with Bicycle policies will result in loss of riding privileges
- Parents are responsible for advising their children and visitors of our bicycle policies
Children
- Children must follow all rules & regulations of Sandy Pines
- Children under the age of 12 must be under the supervision of a guardian at all times
- Children under the age of 16 must observe a curfew of 9pm and must return to their campsite
