Around here, we love the fall. We LOVE summer too, don’t get us wrong. But there’s just something so amazing about the cool crisp nights that require snuggly warm blankets, crackling campfires and endless s’mores. The stars seem brighter, the air seems sweeter and overall it’s a beautiful time to camp in Kennebunkport, Maine.
We’d love for you to experience this incredible season as we see it – less people around, beautiful foliage, harvest festivals and fairs, apple picking, fall hiking…the ways to spend your day are endless. After you pick those apples, you may want to try this great recipe for Dutch Oven Apple Crisp we found – why not?
The campground is still in full swing – the General Store and Snack Bar are open; the heated saltwater pool is calling your name, you can still rent SUPs and kayaks to check out the foliage from the sea, and our team is on hand to make sure you have a great stay.
We hope to see you soon!
P.S. ‘Tis the season for comfort food. While we were looking at the apple crisp recipe, this one for Dutch Oven Campfire Lasagne caught our eye too!
